Day 3– Say No to Social Networks–increased my creativity and productivity

Today is third day without any social networks, and I am a long survivor. Hail yeah. I have more time for other social activities and more time for a kid. Mind is free from any influences, no bombarding emails, junks or no fear of tracking someone your habits or being suffocated by the nasty privacy policies. No more "Google+" evil. Hail yes.

So where is the proof of creativity. Well, If you notice for past four days, I am posting to my website without fail. And I felt refreshing after work. I have my own moments, and I am really enjoying it. Developing a habit of being productive and creative is not easy. Especially you could easily be distracted by those Social
networks. However, I am happy as free bird. Be fearless.

Ideally, I would like to achieve something consistent and pervert the habit. Break the course and awaken my mind from the unconscious marketing dilemma (nothing more than influence, which take over my
choices and put it to practice to be more in control consciously.)

Day 2: Winning over being isolated without social networks

Today is second day without Facebook, twitter or Google+ or any kind of social network. Some may find it quite shocking and believe that I am going to be isolated and suffered without friendly contacts. Well, I agree to some extend about their fear, but as I can see it as to come out from addiction, and some point you felt like you will be completely isolated from the world around. Here I am not afraid to make such a drastic decision on the what is needed to be done. I want to free from the influences, and that is only my concerns. I am not against them, neither I intend to do so. I am just wanted to be freer and not want to suffocate by the unconscious marketing tactics which make me feel daft and non-sense with bombard of adverts. Once again, I would like to remind that how unethical to make some ones mind with such a big influence that will choose something for you without even your acceptance. Believe or not ,but the fact is well hidden that you become a product which is going to be sold. These so-called social networks are playing with human minds to make them slave and regardless of say that we are not even aware of it. We are just being ships and following what others make us to follow. Silly. Wake up guys, if you are reading this, then stop and think for a minute what exactly I am talking about.

Today’s question: How many times have you talked to your friends in person in a week? No, Try this once, this week meet your friend personally and talked to them, spend some time with friends. Feel the difference. Stop wasting time around these silly networks which has no value, no real gain, and nothing to offer and stop to let them take over your mind. Set yourself free.

Day 1 – Say “No to facebook, google+, twitter and any social network”

Say no to social network. “Are you insane? How can you survive? It’s insane, mad and crazy decision to take.”, my wife said. Yes and I did it. I have been temporary deactivated Facebook, Twitter and Google+ account. It was not bad at all. However, after that I felt ‘Oh, My God’ kind of feelings. And once I settled down. I have felt exactly the same who has been slaved for three years, and now he is free like a bird. Well let me clear. What was the idea behind taking this drastic act? My intention is to justify my belief that we are becoming additionally proactively slaves of those so-called social networks which I think nothing more than a gossip cheap tabloids that socially influenced choices of an individual with nasty tactics to sell their goods and services. Deep down, these, I felt so unethical and wrong. Yes, you read it.

I believe that everyone has their own freedom and free from any kind of slavery. In reality, ask yourself, “Are we really free?” No we are not. We are very much addicted to these so-called socialism networks, and they played tactical. Unconsciously, we are following what they have decided to do with you, without even you know that they are driving you. You are no longer making choices. They have already chosen (decided) what is best for you. And blindly we are all following the same path without even thinking for a moment about the choices. The choices that you have never made or think of it. I have noticed it that after when it was affecting too much to my creativity and my productiveness, I haven’t seen such a single person who is very creative and productive, addictive to these social networks. Well, I can say that they are not attached to it. They might be using it wisely, but I am not convinced. So I have decided to give up these social networks and be real and set myself free from any influences.

From today, I am going to write what I have gained and lost. I will note it here and write it as I felt and share on my blog. I know my blog is neither that popular nor I am after to make it well-liked. I am writing this for those want to be unattached from social slavery. And if you think you have become a slave and want to set free, then just act and stop using those social networks and focus on what exactly you want to be. Please do not let social networks choose behalf of you. Please awake from hypnotic state of social networks and be real.

My first no Facebook or social network jargon. Day 1

Today I have decided not to use any social network to improve my productivity and creativity.

I will post more as I go.

In Progress–“Learning is a never ending process.”

I am currently learning new things very fast and it kept me more on my toes in a nice way. It is the thing where I need to get things done on a regular basis. All I can say about it that “Learning is a never ending process.” It’s for all life long and may be beyond it. This makes me more resilient on something which I need to get balanced with. Action, Plan, Do and Reassess yourself.

5 Insights on Creativity from Osho

5 Insights on Creativity from Osho.

1. Ego is the enemy of creativity. You are at your creative best when you do things because you find joy in doing it, because it has an intrinsic value to you. When you do things with a purpose of gaining recognition (and hence satisfy your ego), creativity is limited. Our need for external validation for our work stops us from being receptive, open and curious.

2. Creativity is a paradox. The more you try to be creative, the less creative you will be. Conscious effort to be creative comes in your way to be creative – that is because creativity flows. I wrote earlier that constraints help us become creative – but being in a state flow, being with the work, being in the work is the key to be creative. The book says, “It is not a question of what you do, it is the question of how you do it. And ultimately it is a question of whether you do it or you allow it to happen.”

3. Creativity means letting go of past. Too much reliance on our past stops you from being creative. Creative person is the one who lives in the moment, understands the context and looks at possibilities. As Osho rightly says in the book, “To bring intelligence into activity, you don’t need more information, you need more meditation. You need to become less mind and more heart.”

4. Creativity is an inner game. It stems from your love for the subject. It stems from your passion to practice, courage to try and learn by doing. Osho says, “If your act is your love affair then it becomes creative. Creativity is the quality you bring to the activity you are doing. It is an attitude, an inner approach – how you look at things. Whatsoever you do, if you do it joyfully, if you do it lovingly, then it is creative”

5. Creativity demands a lot of courage. Because doing something unconventionally requires you take risks, be prepared for failure, and learn from it. Osho observes that once you recognition and respect (external validation) keeps us from experimenting, because we are too afraid to fail.

Bottom line:

Creativity isn’t always about doing something that no one has done before – but in my view, it is always about executing your ideas with great love, great joy and a deep interest. If world recognizes it, you will be grateful. If not, you will still find intrinsic joy and happiness. Being creative is a selfish act!

Above paragraphs are taken from one of my favourite mentor tanmay vora’s blog It seems to me that I am start taking interest in OSHO. I will read something that make me more sense and fulfil my desire and lust about life (curiosity, passion, affection, love ). It is so simple message and yet so powerful to understand, realizing in a practical prospective. It’s just truly amazing. I just can’t explain it in batter then this simple words.
